We were born to go to battle. It's ingrained in our DNA. And no amount of attempted brainwashing can get rid of it.
The fitness industry contributes to the softening of men too. Gyms everywhere have "Don't drop the weights" or "No yelling" signs/policies.
What the actual f*ck. We have lost our battlegrounds, our only refuge in a world that has become too soft.
Thankfully, there are still some powerlifting and strongman gyms that allow us to enter battle with guns ablaze. But these types of gyms are not the majority.
The majority of gyms cater to the weak, the elderly and the delicate.
As warriors, we often have to use these gyms, not by choice but out of a last resort. They were not made for us. They do not represent us. They do not understand us. And they do not like us.
Which is fine by us.
ENTER FANATIK
IN MY YOUTH, I got involved in some pretty bad shit. Did a lot of things I regret. Did a few things that got me arrested. Did things that did nothing but hurt and hinder me.
Then, at about 17 years old, I started working out at home. No gym at first. Just a pullup bar and a lot of pushups.
I eventually joined a gym and instantly realized its ability to transform me.
I was hooked.
But fitness clothing was either super cheesy or very plain. It was either a lame joke or just some company logo.
I usually just wore stuff with simple company logos. I hated the shirts with dorky gym jokes and goofy cartoon graphics with witty fitness sayings.
I created FANATIK because I wanted something that looked fucking awesome and that expressed my exactly how I felt, my mindset and my drive.
This was especially relevant as I was stuck in crappy fitness gyms with woke rules and a weak environment, in general.
FANATIK is my no-nonsense solution to what it wrong with the fitness industry today.
THE SOLUTION
